Countdown to the Lions squad

Another round of club and provincial rugby while everyone holds their breath for the announcement of the Lions squad. So a weekend akin to kissing your sister. @FD I smell HOPEFEAR with underdogging tones. Any of the Irish around to corroborate?

  2. killerline says:

Fascinating Freudian stuff from our man FD.

  3. I almost made that joke myself, Killer. I thought better of it.

  4. @ Beadle

I don’t know if it is hopefear. It is more wonderment at not being stuffed by the Kiwi sides repeatedly.

  5. beadleclawuk says:

It’s a canny game there, SH fans playing NH fans at their own. Nonetheless I am certain that this is a polite veneer that as the Lions Tour hits Oz will be stripped away and the true nature revealed 😉

  6. @ Beadle

I can be politie while I am discussing your forwards. If you want the veneer removed we could start discussing backline combinations.

  7. meadesian says:

Ticht, your comfort is the only thing that counts. Maybe you should have a look at cyclo-cross style bikes, geometry of a road bike with a lot of the robustness of a mountain bike.

  8. beadleclawuk says:

He hee. Well if I’d seen the Unborging today by Glaws on a nice firm pitch then I might have been up for it but I’ll gracefully cede the point…

  9. avsfan says:

Gatty makes Imperious Sam capt = Lions circling the drain in the opposite direction they do in the north.

Kiwi sides thoughtfully giving our Australian cousins a leg up by ceding them a few wins in the Super Duper. Let them beat the Lions, save Robbie Dean’s job, then crush them like an elephant stomping grapes in the RC.

Morning all. Happy St Beuno Day to you.
