Looks like everybody fainted – they say he should be alright. Don’t worry.

  2. ElSuavo says:

I have noticed the Kiwi sides clearing out defenders standing next to the ruck, not involved, all season. I am sure the Australian sides are doing it to, but my own bias means I don’t see it. But it does seem like something referees need to watch a bit more closely.

Oh, I’m sure all teams are doing it – I’ve seen it at Super & international level for 3 – 4 seasons now. My bias means I don’t see as much of it from kiwi teams, but they do it too. Pisses me off – it’s basically tackling a player without the ball & said player not being part of the ruck (standing off is not ‘part of the ruck’). Sure, it opens a channel when on attack and takes out a potential attacker when on defence, but that doesn’t make it right or legal.

  3. wolfie says:

Not only that Suavo, it creates a lot of pent up anger within players taken out, leading to……

  9. tichtheid says:

.. and I don’t mean World Wildlife Fund, as it was once called.

  10. tichtheid says:

What was your best 40m sprint time, Ticht?

  11. tichtheid says:

Well, Ticht, funny you should ask.

I only ever did 40m shuttle runs with a centre on each shoulder and I used to clock in at around four and a half seconds. It would have been faster but for the disparity of having to carry a play maker on one shoulder and a bosh merchant on the other.

  12. tichtheid says:

A woman gets on a bus with her baby. The bus driver says: ”Ugh, that’s the ugliest baby I’ve ever seen!” The woman walks to the rear of the bus and sits down, fuming. She says to a man next to her: ”The driver just insulted me!” The man says: ”You go up there and tell him off. Go on, I’ll hold your monkey for you.”

  13. Killerline says:
